I knew little of Raphael Amado’s history with my family, but when he turned up on our doorstep demanding restitution, my grandfather quickly conceded. That restitution? Me.
Six months later, on my eighteenth birthday, Raphael came for me. He stole me from my home, taking me to his Tuscan estate, where from the crumbling chapel to the burnt-down vineyard, to the cellar that haunted him, the past stalked him like a shadow. It waited for him, hid behind corners for him and trapped him at every turn.
As much as Raphael’s cruelty terrified me, his darkness seduced me. But in the end, it was his tenderness that devastated me.
Sofia came to me like an offering. Like a virgin to be sacrificed at the altar. But truth was, her grandfather betrayed her. I guess we had that in common. He’d screwed me too.
I knew hate. I’d vowed vengeance. This was never supposed to be about anything else. But in the end, her innocence broke me. The very thing I would destroy, destroyed me.

I have read many books by Natasha Knight. This book is exactly what I have come to expect from her. Dishonorable is a fantastic read. It’s dark, gritty, raw, intense!

Raphael has some major psychological issues and is super possessive, dominating, raw, primal and hot. He is also generous, sensitive and sweet. Sofia is cute, a bit naïve, smart and sassy. For better or worse they were basically the perfect couple.

Sofia has her issues with her family, and especially with her deceitful grand-father. Raphael has his own skeletons in the closet too, and he found it so hard to get attached to someone. Although their relationship was at a warp speed, there are just connections that click right away. Raphael was able to give her things she didn’t know she needed and she was able to give him the love and security he so desperately craved and needed.

The sex scenes are creative while also having a sense of intimacy and love. Raphael is a serious Alpha male that had me squirming in my seat. I really liked him. He didn’t mince words. He said it like it was. He wanted her. He got her. He was going to keep Sofia no matter what.

I love a story that makes me feel, and the author definitely accomplished this in Dishonorable. This book is well written and keeps the reader interested with suspense and intrigue. Be sure to 1-Click it!!
