Title: One Is A Promise
Author: Pam Godwin
Series or Standalone: Series, Book #1
POV: First person
Scorching Level: 5
HEA: Um… Not telling
Thoroughly enjoyed this. I am a bit hesitant when it comes to love triangles. They can be messy and I usually end up frustrated. This book was the exact opposite. I loved every minute of it.
Danni is trying to recover fom heartbreak. Cole, the man she loved, the man she waited for is gone forever. For three years she has tried to move on with her life. It isn’t until Trace Savoy enters her life that everything changes for her.
Aloof, arrogant and wealthy, he is everything she shouldn’t want, especially since he is going to be her boss. But attraction is a wicked thing and it burns its way between them. But Trace isn’t a man looking for love, especially from a woman that still has feelings for another.
Passion, lust, love, pain and heartache connect our three characters. One past and a future collide.
First let me say, that I love Pam Godwin ‘s writing. I am a huge fan of her work and I believe she delivers complex stories like no one else. I rated this 4 stars because for the first 80% I couldn’t connect with our heroine, Danni. I don’t know why, but I felt a bit neutral when it came to her. On the contrary, I LOVED Trace and Cole. The transition between past and present was great and it really represented Danni’s relationship with both men.
I loved the secondary characters and I laughed out loud with Danni and her niece, Angel. What a kid!!!
My opinion about Danni started to change towards the last 20% of the book and when the plot twist fell on me like a bomb, I was speechless. I loved, loved the ending and I cannot wait for more.
I really need to uncover more of Trace’s personality and I want to know Cole’s story.
I recommend this book. Is it July yet???
Two is a Lie
Two men who don’t share.
I never stopped loving Cole. Not when he left me. Not when he disappeared for three years. Not when he crashed back into my life in a violent explosion of testosterone and fury.
His sudden reappearance questions everything I thought I knew, including how I came to love another man.
Trace is an intoxicating breeze of seduction over ice. My rock. My second chance at forever.
And he’s committed to annihilating the competition.
The battle that ensues wrenches me back and forth between them.
Fighting and fucking.
Resisting and submitting.
Together, they entangle me in a web of lies, rivalry, and desire that weaves as deeply as their devotion to me.
I love two men, and if I can only have one, I choose none.
Three is a War
Three means war.
Three sides vying for forever.
My first love.
The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me.
My second chance.
Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist.
The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight.
I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering.
What options do I have left?
I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I fight.
